Exciting Local News!

I have said it before but I will say it again......I have many talented friends! My friend Amanda is having her Grand Opening of her studio today!
It is called Creative U Studios.
I have had the pleasure of seeing the studio before and it is beautiful. I will be there today for all of the festivities cheering her on! If you get a chance head on over and you won't regret it.
There are so many great classes being offered not just scrapbooking (gasp!)
Sewing, quilting, knitting and more.
I hope to see some of you there :)

WoW! Has it really been that long?!?!

I apologize for the really long delay! I had a minor set back..... but I assure you we are all good now and ready to rock and roll! I hit the gym after a one month break and I didn't die (although I may have looked like I was gonna) and I have been working on the next kit. I think it is really cute and I hope you do too. It is from a line that I was not too familiar with until CHA but it is really great quality paper and adorable designs. Some of the feedback I got on the last kit was too much pink for you (as you can see never too much pink for me) but I am listening so as much as I wanted to lean toward the pink line I refrained. It is going to be amazing for those great summer pix we are all about to have!- as I watch it rain outside in mid April :)
Please stay tuned and keep checking in. We are on the mend here and ready to play again. Thanks for being patient!

Had some fun today!

Well I just got home from having some stampin' fun with some great friends. I am so re-inspired again! My friend Sharon Meyer who is also a very talented designer ;) has agreed to share some of her creations for the blog as well. Yay!

On another note I wanted to share this Card Blog link that my talented friend Shemaine (I have alot of talented friends and family!) has a card posted on that shows alot of ways to use all those eyelets we all have collected through the years. Don't pretend like you don't know what I am talking about. :0
You know who you are!

1 more thing learned!!!

Well I can check one more item off of my list of things to learn. (I should probably really make a list) I have added Pay Pal buttons to the
Taylor Made Memories website! You can now pay for your kit with a credit card OR I can meet you and you can save on shipping.
Yipee me again!

I am also happy to report that I did find the bottom of the laundry pile. Next week I will be going on a "field trip" to the Prima warehouse. I can not wait to find fun treasures there maybe I will share some sneek peeks! ;)

I have been a busy bee!!!

Well besides the pile of laundry that I am desperately trying to find the bottom of (due to my many hours sitting at a computer) I have been finding some amazing things for the next kit!
I took so long on the 1st generation kit that I wasn't sure how long the next kit would be.
I think I may have the next few kits now!!! It is like a dream job of shopping for scrapbooking supplies :) I will have a sneek peek for next one soon. In the meantime I have a limited amount of the 1st generation kits available so don't wait too long! One of my other new goals is to set deadlines for myself in regards to the kit club. That is going to be a work in progress in itself :) so please be patient.

Whew! now I need a nap.

I am not kidding you guys and gals are gonna just love what she does! I will be back on later today with another exciting update.... I just had to share the news :)
Thanks Shemaine!!!!!

Taylor Made Memories Financial Backer

Holy Macaroni! I have been working all day on this journey we are on!
Not only is it my sis-n-laws B-day (she is a leap baby) today.
So Happy 10 1/2 to Patty!!!
But I had to learn to re-size my images that I worked so hard on making beautiful for the website-go figure. I have them done and have the page ready to go now I just need to learn how to create a way for people to pay for the kit. I am learning so much about not only this technical world but myself as well. I am learning that I can still learn. :) I am learning that I have this amazing man in my life who is willing to let me dive into this journey and he will save me if I need saving but is so proud of how well I am swimming toward my goal. I am a lucky gal. Thanks to you JT!
I am hoping that by the end of what is now a new day
I will have the site complete and ready to go!
Wish me a whole lot of luck!

Some small progress to report.....

Well I have been "playing" most of my day with both the blog and
Taylor Made Memories website. Happy to report some progress.
I learned how to create a slideshow that you can see if you click on a picture.
See if you can find it on the site.... like "Where's Waldo?" :)
I have been separating the kits out to see what else I want to add. I think even though this line is older that the kit is so stinkin' cute!
(If I do say so myself) I have been talking to some great friends of mine to be recruited as Taylor Made Design Gals-thats not the official name (yet). I have added another sneek peek as well. There will be some items that are going to be called Taylor Made Items that can be added on to your kit.
They are gonna have to be limited quantities only though :(
I am getting so excited to post this kit and move on to the next kit!
I hope you continue to be patient and that my dirty clothes will just magically wash themselves!
:)

Working on taking pictures for the website.

Whew! Everything about this journey is a learning process for me. I can take pictures but I want amazing pictures for the website. Here is a sneak "peek" at one of the stamp sets that will be in the first kit.

It is an older line but when I started this process it was new. :) I promise I will have new goodies for the next kits to come. I am just going to learn and practice with this line. Oh! and shhhhhh! don't tell anyone but I will offer this 1st generation kit at an unbelievable price!
I will continue to work on taking pictures of the goodies and hunting for goodies for the next kits to come. I am hoping that this will be a fun and adventurous kit club for you and ME!
Thanks for checking in and your continued patience-you know who you are :)

I learned something new today!

I have added these blinkie things to the right here ----->
on my blog! If you know me at all.....
I am grinning from ear to ear right now with pride.
I was determined to add them because not only do I love and follow my friend
My Pink Stamper but she is giving away a Cricut Expression
courtesy of Custom Crops!!!!
You just need to do what I did and run on over to her blog
and add her blinkie to YOUR blog.
You old pros probably know exactly what and how to do it!
